| ![]() I just joined this forum and am looking forward to chatting with you guys. I don't have a Yorkie yet but I'm hoping to get one in the near future. We currently have two cats which worries me a bit but hopefully the dog and cats will get along. I'd love to hear from anyone who has a Yorkie and cat(s) that get along. | ![]() Hi, I just join YorkieTalk this PM. I have two yorkies that love our outside cats and the cats like the "boys". When the cats get tired of the play they walk away. beck ![]() |

| ![]() I have a cat and yorkies. The dogs like to chase the cat, and when the cat feels like it she will run. If she doesn't want to be chased she just ignores the charging dogs who will stop before they slam into her lol. I think you will be fine. I am new here too ![]() Wend |

| ![]() Many thanks for the warm words and helpful advice. I feel like I've come to the right place and am starting to believe that "home politics" will be OK with cats and an added Yorkie. Yay!!! ![]() |
