| Has anyone taken their yorkie to a fair? We have the annual Stampede coming up tomorrow. There's the rodeo and the midway. Fireworks, parade the whole deal. I'm taking Tila with me tomorrow morning for the parade. I've decided not to take her to the fireworks, because last year we watched them from the park which is a distance away and Tila freaked out a bit, she was 5 months at the time. I don't want to stress out with the loud bangs so she'll stay home for that. I was thinking about taking her with me to the midway though, I'm just wondering if that might be too loud as well, with all the people, rides... Has anyone ever taken their pups to a midway? Everyone's going to be going and I don't really want to leave her home alone. I'm not sure just yet what I'll do, maybe the family will split time. Last edited by Roxy 87; 07-27-2009 at 10:28 AM. |

| I havent taken mine to a fair but Ive taken them to festivals with alot of people. They enjoyed it and liked all the attention they got. I had to keep my eye on them constantly to make sure no one stepped on them. If you have a dog stroller I would take it for them. You will get stopped constantly and I mean constantly from people wanting to pet your pup. We really dont get very much shopping done for all the stopping from people asking questions about them to wanting to pet them. So that is the downfall if you see it that way

| Taking them to the fire works does not sound like the best idea.... They usually enjoy the attention they get from many kids and all sorts of people who want to pet them... But as the last post, too much attention and too many stops may get to be too annoying even for the humans... Good fair !!!!!!!
