At the Window Do your furbabies enjoy looking out a window at home? Gracie will stare out of a window for hours and seems to know every new thing in the yard or accross the street.........and bark, bark, bark. I would like to have her nominated as "Neighborhood Watch Dog"

Yes, my Maggie loves the window. I opened up our back sliding glass blinds and she will sit up on the couch for hours at a time. We are working on getting her to stop barking at things while she sits there so now its more like a "brrrr"..."brrrr".....its hysterical! I think she thinks she is watching out for us!

I wish our Chuhga would only go brrr brrr. She has the most ear piercing bark expecially now that she is a mom and is looking out for baby snatching boogers!

Our trainer told her everytime she barks to warn her with a "no bark". If she keeps barking we get her in our arms (because she will run away if we dont) and spray her mouth with bitter apple. It seems to have worked. Some people are afraid to spray the bitter spray but it is harmless and it works!

| Not too much with Schatzie, but I think it's only because I am not at the window. She is consistent on being where I am at 24/7. She does however go up to the slider throughout the day to torment our cat outside or gaze out at the cows and wonder what the heck they are??

Gucci likes to look out the window and barks at every single car that pass by. I have to keep telling her that is ok that is only a car, but she keeps barking. I have try holding her and telling her no bark and giving her something to keep her busy. Sometime that works but others she just wont stop. I might try that bitter apple advise.
