| Moving Hello everyone My Husband and I just bought our first house, up until now we have been living in my parents basement. Cooper our dog has been with us there for the whole time, only a baby gate keeps Cooper downstairs and when I go upstairs or go out, I open the baby gate so Cooper can go upstairs and visit and play with my mom's 2 yorkies. So my question is do you think he'll be ok with the move? Should I have any concerns? Any tips? Oh and just so you know he loves me and know's I'm his mommy, but he does spend lots of time with my mom and her dogs as she is retired and I work most of the day. Thanks everyone Jess and Cooper |

| I think dogs do well with adjusting. Maybe get him another Yorkie so he can have a play- mate? Hehe. Also, is it possible for you to bring Cooper over your moms while you work? Kind of like a babysitter/dogsitter and then pick him up when you get home from work?

| No worries on your move! I am sure he will be fine.. The thing I would be worried about is he might get a little lonesome... :/ during the day when you are at work..maybe you can put on some music or the tv or something.... P.S Congrats on your new house!!

| Roxie was at home with my parents before we moved when I was working or gone. When we moved out on our own she did alright but she was so bored it took her a long time to get used to not having people or other dogs around all the time. We added Ryder in March and she has been so much happier have a buddy! Good luck and congrats on the house!
