| Harley Missed Me I just got back from seeing my new grandson and older granddaughters in TX. He was born two weeks early (the induced my daughter) and he was 8lbs and 4oz. He is absolutely handsome. Anyways I was gone for 8 days and my DH was also out of town for work during that time. My two daughters who still live at home while attending college took care of the dogs. My daughter said Harley just sulked around the house for 4 days, he wouldn't even look at her in the face. He was his normal self after that. But when I got home he totally ignored me for the first 2 days. He wanted nothing to do with me and I could tell was totally mad at me. I have never had him do this. My other dog, Samson was just excited as could be that I was home but Harley was making me pay for being gone so long. Has anyone experienced this? Oh and here is a picture of my new little one and me with my granddaughters.

| Congratulations on your new arrival and your granddaughters are gorgeous. I have experienced situations where Rockie gets mad with me. His personality is very distinguishable. It can be really funny. I know your Harley will come around soon enough.

| Congratulations on those beautiful grandbabies!!! So precious!! My Vino often lets me know if I have left him for too long. He will just sit in the corner and stare at me... won't come when called... just sits there (its actually kind of cute)

| thanks everyone for the congrats..... it's funny because both DH and I have been gone before during our vacations but this time was a little different. DH has been done since end of May for work and I started only working in the office once a week so I am home all day working where I can take breaks to play with them. I can tell they miss DH though because when we get up and I let them out they run to his side of the bed and look for him. I then left and I guess that through Harley into a mood. He is just such a happy go lucky dog and I have never seen him like this before.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Congrats! All your grandkids are adorable. I left all 3 of mine for the first time ever with my daughter who lives at home a few weeks ago while we took a vacation and they were ok. But at first Roxie wouldn't go to my nephew who was coming during the day to sit with them, but at the end they were all siting on his lap. When I came home they were so excited but after 10 minutes they went back and laid down like no big deal. I did learn I cam leave them and they will be fine so I now can take vacations more often than once every 30 years!!! I think it helps having more than one and leaving them in their home.
