| Boo is from a rescue and although they advertised him as a Yorkie, we strongly suspect he's a Silky. I went to a dog show a few months back and talked to some people showing Silky's and I'm more convinced then ever that he's a Silky now. Of course, it really doesn't matter 'what' he is, we love him to pieces, he's the best dog and I can't believe how lucky we are to have him!! I love how my DH proudly says that Gracie Ruth & Yogi are Yorkies, but his Boo is a Silky

| Aside from the difference in size (Silkies are larger, although there are larger Yorkies, too), one of the differentiating characteristics seems to be nose. My Yorkies have little tiny noses (not snouts, the nose itself). Silkies seem to have larger noses. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | This is Griffin, my 3 year old Silky. He is breed perfect. Weighs 9lbs. The biggest difference is they have a longer snout, larger head and a much sturdier composition overall - from being bred to the Australian Terrier. They are wonderful dogs. You can look at my album for other pics.

| Thank you, we think he's gorgeous also. But his real beauty is his heart. He is an amazing dog and I can't understand why his original owners gave him up...but I'm sure glad they did.
