I have always heard that the Silky has a little longer body than the Yorkie. I can really see that in some of these pictures.

You have to put them in your Paint on computer and reduce the size to about half then you can upload them where it says manage attachments below where you write your quote.

I have to say i can't tell the difference between the larger yorkies and silkies, but your pup is stunning....whatever she is!!

I think alot of times when people see larger yorkies the 1st thing that want to say is, it is a silky. My 7 lb yorkie gets that all the time, and I have to tell them no she is a yorkie, yorkie is 7 lb and under. She is standard size. I think most people think of yorkies as always being very small under 5lb

Honestly, I don't know. He is enormous and the silkies are bigger. Not to mention, someone posted on this thread that their nose is longer and his nose is longer. It's not a separate breed. It's still a Yorkie. right?

No they are not both Yorkies. Silkshire Terrier's are a different breed. Some confuse it when we talk about silky yorkies but that is in reference to their coat. I think your baby is beautiful whichever it is, but she looks like a yorkie to me.
