| He is lovesick My last yorkie Paddy used to go without food for up to 4 days when he got a whiff of a female in season, also he would sit in the middle of the floor howling. Alfie who is with us now has been done and doesn't show these traits. |

| It sounds like she could be coming in heat, how old is she? Is she showing signs such as swelling of the vulva? Bleeding? My male gets down to about 3lbs when my female is in heat, normally he's around 3.5 to 4lbs. Good luck, things should be back to normal in a few weeks
