| Have you considered a rescue shelter? we rescued our pup from a shelter. I have no idea if he has papers or not, and we could care less!! This poor pup was in need of a good home and we provided it to him. We paid $250 dollars for him, this is a legit resuce that goes to the city and picks out the most adoptable dogs from the SPCA there and brings them to their rescue shelter in the country. They do not specialize in Yorkies, but you could consider a yorkie rescue if you couldn't find one in the SPCA. If we were going to pay for a dog, we thought rescuing one was the best thing to do. To us, the papers are just something else to keep track of, and really worthless, maybe we're wrong but we thought that providing a good home was more important than paying astronimical amounts for a dog. Plus, we have taken all the money we saved and put it towards buying them every toy we can find!! LOL!! Henry (appears to be a purebred) is only about 8 months old, and gets along great with his yorkie mix big sister Shelby who we rescued earlier in the year. |
