| This is sad I just visited a site called :Katrina Pets and there was a video about how they are shooting the dogs instead of saving them??? This is horrible... THe video doesn't show any animals being shot, but you can hear the gun shot, the sad part is the sheriff who is shooting them doesn't even feel bad. Here is the video link : Video |

| I watched a bit of one video yesterday, but won't any longer..it is just too heartbreaking. I got a good email from a club member..it said a number of the breed rescues were there working day and night to rescue their breed..Rottie people and Dobies, also Beagles. She said there were tons of pit bulls..but the only one who bit her was a tiny Maltese! LOL |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | i can't watch it, that is so sad. if they are right there, why can't they just pick them up. a lot of people are holding on to the small hope that they put their pets somewhere safe, where a rescuer could save them, instead they are being shot, its awful.

| I have watched that video before...I was so sick to my stomach after. I can not imagine what a N.O. person that has had to leave their pet behind must think if they see videos like this ...My heart just felt like it was breaking as I watched! Sad, very very sad

| Sad That is so sad! I would not be able to watch the video. Just seeing some of the dogs from the hurricane made it hard to sleep at night. I feel so much for them

| I'm in tears over that video and my stomach is turning harshly. Why oh why did I look. I think of my babies, their trusting happy tails and hungry mouths lost and just confused. I have no other words for this, just a lot of tears. Jeni |
