| Got to meet my baby girl! Over the 4th of July holiday, I went to visit my sister in KY. I finally got to meet and spend some time with my new baby! I was beside myself at how adorable she is. I took a lot of pictures! I have already fallen in love with her. I can't wait to pick her up. On the flip side of that, I transported another adult yorkie, Libby (rescued). She stayed with me for the week before the guy picked her up yesterday. She was such a loving, gentle, behaved girl! She made herself comfortable in my bed at night. I was beside myself. I cried when she left! They are so easy to get attached too. I told him if it doesn't work out, then bring her back to me. I would have loved to keep her. We have 3 other dogs (2 are outside dogs and 1 is a K-9 drug dog) and then my new pup. My DH knew I was upset and he told me yesterday that if she did come back, we could keep her. He liked her too. |

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Congrats on your new baby girl. You took lots of pictures you say???? Umm, excuse me, we don't see any posted here.....you're not going to share....or show her off? Details too.......how old is she? When does she get to come home? That was great of you to help out with the rescue Yorkie also. I agree, it is very easy to get attached. Okay, scratch the comments about not sharing pics, I visited your profile and saw some there. Izzie is adorable, and from the newest pic there, I'd say it won't be to long before she's home with you. Congrats again.

| Your new baby is so adorable. What a cute little face. Does she have a name yet? Your right it is very easy to fall in love with them. You have to be strong. You are getting your new baby soon enough, and the rescued baby will have a good home with much love. If your not careful they will call you the crazy dog lady that had 50 dogs lol haha.

I just uploaded a couple more pics and finally got my "avatar" picture changed. I'm gonna post them here too. She was born on May 30th. Her mom was rescued by my sister's, sister-in-law. She doesn't want to keep them much longer so I will be getting Izz when she's 7 weeks old. I know the "recommended" age is 12 weeks but she's ready to get them moving. So I will be meeting my sister in Nashville next weekend to pick her up. My heart just broke yesterday with Libby leaving. She had just started to get used to us. I was so down in the dumps yesterday my DH took me puppy shopping.

My daughter and I have decided to name her Izzabella May. She was born May 30th. I think if I had a much bigger house (aside from my 3 kiddos) I could become a dog lady! This will be my first yorkie and taking care of Libby for the week, I didn't realize how loving they really are! She wouldn't leave my side.

| OMG'sh, your little Izzie May is such a cutie patootie!!! And I love her name!!! I also love her little square body, and nice thick coat on her legs...I couldn't help myself going to your info to check out her pictures, but I really need not to do that, 'cause it makes me want to get another baby...My Apple is 8 1/2 months old, and she keeps me on the run every waking moment, and since she's my first yorkie, I need to get it together w/her before I add another one lol...I admire you and your husband w/the rescue work you do...I'm not too many years from retirement, and I have that on the back burner of my mind for that stage of my life...But like ya'll, I'm not sure I will be able to handle the "rehoming" emotionally...But, anyway, I digress (as I usually do)....Congrats on your new baby...Can't wait to hear all about her when you have her w/u 24/7!!! All The Best to you and Your Family |
