| Bar-b-que sauce, coleslaw and cornbread This morning i ate some left over bar-b-que chicken and cornbread for breakfast. When i was done, I left it on the stand next to the couch in one of those styrofoam thingies, the kind you take home leftovers in. Well....while I was downstairs putting a load of clothes in the washer, I noticed Brandi was no where around. I called her name and she came running licking her chops ( with the cutest mischivieous expression....like she knew she was busted) and I noticed a peice of styrofoam on her. I ran upstairs to find that she had torn open the box and chewed on some of the cornbread, coleslaw and I think she may have licked the bar-b-que sauce. I had ate all of the chicken so she didn't eat any of that. It was boneless grilled mesquite chicken. Should I be worry? Hopefully none of this is toxic to her. Fortunately...I am on vacation until Monday and she will be with me every minute of the day practically so I can keep a close eye on her. Thanks |

| It could cause her to have an upset stomach but thats the worst to happen and it most likely wont. My Husband gives our a little bit of barbque boneless chicken breast when he has it and its never had ill effects on them

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Like Chachi said possible upset tummy or even diarrhea but everything should be ok. I had a thread on here a couple of months back asking what naughty foods you feed your baby and if you had seen that you wouldn't be so worried about a bit of chicken and bbq sauce lol Seriously though we do need to keep a close eye on them, as they are so sneaky and fast.Tia had her nose in a carrier bag full of a scraped away roast dinner and I just caught her with an Aunt Bessie potato in her gob lol
