YT Addict | I have two babies neither have their tails docked, Scarlett was bred in Germany where they dont dock. so when we started reading up we decided when we got skyler we wouldnt have him docked either, i love their tails they add so much more personality, i love watching them chase each other in circles nipping at each others tails i'll work on getting a picture posted

| I seen this thread and was so excited to see all the Yorkies with their tails. I've never seen one with it's tail and think they look so sweet with their tails. If I was a breeder I'd never have the tails docked, because I love them with their tails on.

| Here is Skeeter at 12 weeks old. His tail was left intact by mistake but I don't mind it now. Tails are such a matter of preference! I think he is adorable. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/alb...ictureid=39143 |

| Pebbles is my old full yorkie and she does have a docked tail. I also have Doodlebug and Bogey who have a full and kind of docked tail. Personally, I wish they all had a tail. I call DBug's tail his happiness flag

| Dock or not Paddy had a long tail and Alfie has a docked tail I hasten to add I would not dock but poor Alfie had been docked and nutted when we rescued him Paddy had everything in the right place The only draw back with Paddy's long tail was it needed constant trimming around his bum as his poo used to stick to the hair and we were forever wiping him clean, we have never had that problem with Alfie But then Alfie and Paddy are as different as chalk and cheese in all ways Only you can decide, Imagine yourself having a tattoo, would you regret it or like it, not a decision I would like to take. Hope you choose the right thing to do |

| I am so happy to see these adorable Yorkie tails! I had wondered what S'mores would look like with his. We were going to dock his after he was born, but with him being a preemie and the vet saying that we should wait to do it and then ultimately recommending that we not do it, we decided that it's not a big deal for him to have a full tail. We lost 3 out of 4 puppies in Livi's litter and we were not willing to risk losing S'mores just so he would have a short tail. I love seeing these cute photos! |
