| ![]() I have a movie outing to go to tonight but I don't want to leave Davey at home alone. I am very tempted to sneak him in, but I am worried about the noise. We watch movies together at home all of the time, but this is different. Have you ever snuck your baby in the movies? Did it work out? |

| ![]() I snuck Bella Mia into Costco once so I did not have to leave her in the car alone . It was all fine and good in the beginning, then we saw my son and she started yipping for him near an employee who promptly told us dogs were not allowed and then he asked us to leave immediately! OOOOOOPPPPSSSSS! |

| ![]() I think the noise will be a bit much. Esp with that surround sound! Much diff than at home! I've never even though of trying b/c Uni would be squirming to try to say hello to everyone! Quote:
At our old house we would always go into the market with Uni in her bag and in the cart, and the employees always wanted to say hi to her, they didn't even care there was a dog in the Vons! Oh it seems Home Depot doesn't care if you bring your dog in the garden section. We used to take her all the time (again, back when we had our home). Even though the sign says no pets. i always see dogs there, I even once seen a guy bring is cat!

| ![]() People who sneak dogs in movie theaters and restaurants are just being selfish and inconsiderate. Sorry, but they are. A movie theater is no place for a yorkie and if you have to ask then......expletive deleted! C'mon! Are you serious? Another reason I have not been to a cinema in over a decade. Home theaters are the best! |

| ![]() I would not take mine. I am sure the noise would scare the you-know-what right out of them! Save their outings for things that will be fun for them.

| ![]() Do you have a drive-in, in your area. That would be a much better setting to take your baby to the movies. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() I wouldn't have the nerve to take Thor, but his former owner did and she said it was fine. It probably depends on the movie - maybe skip movies with big sound effects and 'Marley and Me'! I wouldn't care about a dog at the movies as long as it was 100% quiet. I'd prefer that to people who take out their phones halfway through and text their friends. Even though it's silent, the phone is still glowing, dude! And you'd have to be prepared for massive public scorn if you got caught.

| ![]() If we have a film on the TV or DVD at home and a dog barks on it, Alfie go's ballistic running round the room barking mad. He has been told many times to quieten it down. |

| ![]() Roxie has pretty much went everywhere with us-including going to the movies. It was a last minute decision and we were out at the outlet mall where dogs are allowed. She is always quiet and would rather be with me than anywhere else. She did just fine and slept in her dog bag and no one said a thing.

| ![]() I use to take Suri to the movies and she never had a problem. I think it depends on the movie because I only went to one place where I knew the managers and they knew I brought her along. Plus many times we went to private screenings. She would sit up and watch and then fall asleep in my lap. If she ever acted scared or startled from the nose I would have left of course but she never made a peep. I don't think it is selfish at all that I brought her along as I made sure it was okay and I made sure she was always comfy. But then again many of the places here allow animals... ![]()

![]() ![]() I have taken Sam to a few movies, he gets in my lap and sleeps or plays with a toy that I brought. I also give him treats for being such a good boy. We have gone to comedies, never action packed due to the amount of noise. I normally sit in the back, try not to sit near people. Altho, we did one time and the people just loved that he was there and being so good. Luckily, they were dog people. I cannot tell you how many times we have gone out to eat with Sam. He is so good and you never know he is there. I think its a personal decision and what works best for you and your Yorkie. Are you prepared to leave during the middle of the movie? Are you prepared if you get asked to leave? Just things to consider before taking your little one with you. Don't get upset if your baby doesnt like it and you have to leave right in the middle of the good part!!!

| ![]() it comes down to common sense guys. I hate to say it, but if you have a loud yorkie, or dog in general, then i wouldnt even try to sneak it, let alone even attempt it. I am lucky enough to live in germany where its allowed to bring your dog pretty much anywhere, regardless of how roudy it gets (sometimes that sucks!). My girl is as quite as can be when we are out. she doesnt bother anyone. only thing is she wants to sit in my lap. she doesnt like the floor. so when we go out to eat they usually allow her to sit in my lap b/c she's so small, but i have been asked to put her on the floor once and i glady obliged (sp?). It all comes down to personal preference though. Some people find it gross that a dog is allowed in a resturant... because they are not a dog owner themselves. You will even find yorkie owners not liking other dogs... because they dont like hair. I see both ways. But fortunatly, i like all dogs ![]() Just my 2 cents on the situation.. I dont find it "Selfish and Inconsiderate". Ps... I am "Selfish and Inconsiderate" :P

![]() When Uni was a baby she would go into restaurants with us. She just slept in my purse with my hoodie over her. No one ever knew she was there. Once she got older and knew what people food was then we stopped taking her.
