| nub size This is kind of silly, but how long is your yorkie's nub? I have seen some yorkies with a tiny one and some longer. How long is it supposed to be?

| I'm not sure how long they are supposed to be, but Harley's tail is probably between an inch and an inch and a half long. Jeri and Harley |

| I think Ben's is about 1 1/ inches and Rocky being a puppy still, seems to be about an inch. I am guessing, did not want to bother them with the tape measure as they are sleeping on my feet (their usual place when I get on the computer). Ben's looks a lot longer as I let the hair on his tail grow long. I love when he is prancing around in the yard and it sort of plumes! That may be some of the difference you are seeing with the cropped tails. How we cut the hair on the tails, can make a big difference in how long they look.

| Lol! According to AKC: Docked to a medium length and carried slightly higher than the level of the back. I really like Momo's 'nub' (lol) length. I think it's perfect...2"...not sure tho cuz he's sleeping downstairs & I like keeping his hair long on his tail. Mimi's is 1.5", wish it was longer so her tail hair doesn't get wet when she pees. Did everyone go measure their baby's nubs before posting?
