nub size This is kind of silly, but how long is your yorkie's nub? I have seen some yorkies with a tiny one and some longer. How long is it supposed to be? |
Jackson's got a full tail :) lol |
nub? what's a nub? |
the tail.... |
I'm not sure how long they are supposed to be, but Harley's tail is probably between an inch and an inch and a half long. Jeri and Harley |
Misty weighs 5 lbs, is 2 1/2 yrs old, and her wiggly nub is about 1 1/2 long |
Missy is 3.5 lbs. Her tail is just over an inch long. |
Bella weighs 3 lbs 4 oz and her nub/tail is about 1.5" long. |
:lol tears:lol tears:lol tears Oh that's what a nub is? I thought we were gonna have another locked up thread! LOL Uni's is about 2" and she is 5 1/2" pounds. :D |
:yelrotflm:yelrotflmlmao lmao! I'm laughing so hard I'm crying! Wonder what they thought the 'nub' was? :lol tears |
I think Ben's is about 1 1/ inches and Rocky being a puppy still, seems to be about an inch. I am guessing, did not want to bother them with the tape measure as they are sleeping on my feet (their usual place when I get on the computer). Ben's looks a lot longer as I let the hair on his tail grow long. I love when he is prancing around in the yard and it sort of plumes! That may be some of the difference you are seeing with the cropped tails. How we cut the hair on the tails, can make a big difference in how long they look. |
Curly is 3 lbs now and her nub is about 3/4 of an inch. But her ears are big so maybe she'll still be hung? hahaha, snort. sorry. |
wahahhahaahh....my yorkie's nub is abt 1.5'' for my smallest -2.9pounds (she used to be a 2 pounder) the same for my 5pound and 7 pound yorkies... ok..please do not laugh..LOL i tot the nub..is the length of the female's dog private area..u know the line of their 'rose bud'? I thought it meant that..ROFL |
Lol! According to AKC: Docked to a medium length and carried slightly higher than the level of the back. I really like Momo's 'nub' (lol) length. I think it's perfect...2"...not sure tho cuz he's sleeping downstairs & I like keeping his hair long on his tail. Mimi's is 1.5", wish it was longer so her tail hair doesn't get wet when she pees. Did everyone go measure their baby's nubs before posting? |

Bandit is almost 4.5 pounds and we refer to his nub as his 'nubbin' because it's barely half a centimeter long. Nala is only 14 weeks old and 2 pounds and is about an inch long. |
If nothing else Im learning a whole new language on here , pee string, nub. I guess Tia hasn't got a nub just a boring tail :lol tears |

My darling little girl has the most beautiful FULL tail she was born with! :D |
Jewels' is about an inch and a half. Chachis isnt even an inch it is tiny and we always say he got shorted on his tail |
SUzi has a short tail, she was born with. |
ok so NOW that I KNOW what a nub is....LOL I had to get out the tape measure and measure Madison's "nub" which is 1.75 inches. Oh she's about 5 lbs and is 13 mos old who knew???? thanks for teaching me a new yt language!!! |
CoCo has a barely nub. She looks tailless until she wags and you can kinda see something moving...it breaks my heart! Tater's is about 2" but his hair is longer on it so it looks longer. |
