| I need my fellow Yorkie talkers expert opinions!!! I need your expert opinions please! I told my friend I was looking for a yorkie breeder in the NY tristate area and she told me that she bought her yorkie from this man/breeder. Well she told me that the breeder met her in the lower east side, in the City, and brought her yorkie with him. He gave them a folder with all his paper work, all his shots, but kept the registration papers because they only gave him a deposit. They set up a payment plan of paying him every 2 weeks. He charged them $1,650. Here is his website: Home What do you lovely ladies thinks? Does this seem shady or good? my friend said her dog is so healthy and happy and she calls the breeder all the time with questions and that he is great. Any opinions on this? Thanks! |

| Wow, I wish I knew. If it would of been me, I would given him a deposit and then paid the rest when I picked up the puppy, hmmm. I hope someone will be on who can answer your question soon.

| My guess would be "Brooker". I will admit those puppies all look healthy and happy but for a small business, like he mentioned, they sure have alot of puppies available. Good luck with your puppy and I hope he is healthy and happy and stays that way. Anyone that I had to meet on a street to receive my puppy I would bow out no matter what the cost. |

| A broker is the middleman. A broker *buys* pups from Puppymillers for a cheap cost (bc they buy in bulk) and then *acts* like a breeder, selling those Puppymill dogs to unsuspecting families at an outrageous cost This place IS shady and I would NOT proceed |

| A brooker is the middle man, so to speak. A BYB or puppymiller will sell their puppy to a "Brooker" for little money and then the brooker will sell the puppy for more. Or the "Brooker" works directly with the above and sells the puppy outright and they split the money. Either way I think these puppies are breed by the above. Be careful. Something is just not right with this set-up. |

| They call them t-cups (red flag) and they have ALOT of puppies!!!!! They even say please call we have more yorkies.....Meaning they could probably get a few more from a puppy mill if you dont like any of the available ones! So I would vote no.
