| We don't celebrate Father's Day for ourselves as we only have furkids but we do constantly refer to each other as "Daddy" and "Mommy" to our furkid. I wish she knew how to Arf out "Daddy", that would be fun to celebrate! However, we do have to celebrate Father's Day tonight and tomorrow for my furbaby's granddaddy. And since years back, I had pointed out to my own parents that it's a time of appreciation, not another Christmas (commercialized version) or birthday even (just as commercialized) . So they get the appreciation with the family gathering and all, but not a gift. . So it's been kept to brunch, lunch, and dinners... and the bit of pocket cash at times. How is this different? I don't know but I just had to say, "No more toys for you, Mom, Dad! We all only get one birthday.. and Christmas... and all of the in betweens!" Happy Father's Day tomorrow to all of you celebrating it with fur and/or skin child! |

| I have 2 children and 3 furbabies. I couldn't leave them out so I got a card and signed in Daisy, Rosco and Bo.

| Our dogs have gotten Father's Day gifts/cards every year for DH. Last year they got Daddy a new leather recliner. I'm thinking they are getting too much allowance if they can afford that for Daddy. I usually make a card with a picture of them on the front and they 'sign' it in crayon. But you know...now that I think about it...somethings wrong with this picture...I don't get Mothers Day gifts/cards... the kids love their Daddy more then they love the Momma. Oh wait, I know that's not true, I'm thinking it's more because I like to do these things for DH then he likes doing them for me. He's a wonderful DH, but doing a Mother's Day thing for me is just not something he'd like of. But that's ok, he makes up for it in a lot of other ways.

| Well of course Ryle and Fancie Pants got daddy a special card (hallmark sells cards from the dog) and they each signed with their little pawprints. |

| That is hilarious! Did you make the card, or was it a commercial one? IF it isyour design, you could make a mint on that!
