We don't celebrate Father's Day for ourselves as we only have furkids but we do constantly refer to each other as "Daddy" and "Mommy" to our furkid. I wish she knew how to Arf out "Daddy", that would be fun to celebrate! However, we do have to celebrate Father's Day tonight and tomorrow for my furbaby's granddaddy. And since years back, I had pointed out to my own parents that it's a time of appreciation, not another Christmas (commercialized version) or birthday even (just as commercialized) . So they get the appreciation with the family gathering and all, but not a gift. . So it's been kept to brunch, lunch, and dinners... and the bit of pocket cash at times. How is this different? I don't know but I just had to say, "No more toys for you, Mom, Dad! We all only get one birthday.. and Christmas... and all of the in betweens!"

Happy Father's Day tomorrow to all of you celebrating it with fur and/or skin child!
