| AKC registration? If you have AKC registration, and you have all the parent's information. Can you look them up on their site or get any kind of information on the parents? |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | You can research pedigrees on the AKC site for $15 fee. I believe the fee is per individual name but I'm not sure. It can be completed on line though. The only info you will will receive will be names of the other dogs in the line. So if you have a 3 generational pedigree now...search the grandparents ...not the parents.

| We will be getting the pedigree in the mail soon and I believe it is a 3 gen one, so that would show just the parents? |

If by chance any of her "relatives" have earn championships...that information will be printed beneath their names on her pedigree. Are you looking for something specific?

| I guess I was just interested to get any kind of information on the parents and grandparents. This is to do with our Bull terrier. When my Fiancee bought her, he seen pictures of the parents, but of course you can find any pictures of the parents online, he didn't see them in person. I was just curious to see if there's anything we can find out on them. I guess the people he bought the dog from, they were selling a couple of the pups for their friend who are bull terrier breeders, they usually only breed English bull dogs. I know where they are located, perhaps someone may know OF them. She came with AKC full registration. And my fiancee would really like to breed her, so I am trying to help in researching as much info as possible on the parents, I thought maybe I could find any valuable info on the AKC site. As well I am trying to research online about breeding Bull terriers, I emailed one lady who was not very helpful AT ALL, very discouraging. We want to weigh the pros and cons. Not looking to breed for profit but more because we love this breed, it is very rare around here and we have not seen very many of them. I actually met BY CHANCE at the tennis courts two days ago another Bull Terrier Male, he is 6 months at the moment, and is also registered with AKC. So we will look into him as a possible stud IN THE FUTURE. But besides him I only know of two other bull terriers in my city. |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Just a thought...but is there no way you can contact the breeder and ask them? I will say the way she was sold...sounds like a possible broker situation.

It is possible to contact them. I assumed they may of been brokers. They do sell english bulldogs like I mentioned and they have a site for that, I looked them up online and tried to find out anything about them and all I find out that they breed English bulldogs and do weddings at their ranch and that was it. They said they don't usually sell the bull terriers but a friend had a litter and were having a hard time selling them. They were very nice people and very informative and had no problems answering any questions or give any information they had available. Im not sure if all brokers are like this, I assumed they were money hungry scammers that weren't very nice and gave very little info, feedback and help afterwards. These people called us to make sure everything was on time and she arrived and we were satisifed, just didn't seem like brokers but who knows I may be wrong?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I meant the actual breeder not the person who sold the puppies. They are the ones who could provide you with additional information about his parents. I guess it would be possible since they have an on line capablity...they were just "helping" someone out....or they could be brokers. A reputable breeder is going to be very particular to whom they sell breeding rights. I'm not fussing at you...I got an golden retriever years ago in much the same manner...only she wasn't shipped to me. She came with full breeding rights....so obviously this particular breeder did not care where puppies from her lines may have ended up in the future.

By no means I don't think your fussing at me. lol I have the name of the breeder and his address as well, I could find his number and call. I guess maybe the "breeder" felt these people could make the decision finding good homes. I know my fiancee says he was emailing back and forth with these people for about a week- to a week and a half and talking on the phone everyday. I mean I know they may of not been anal about where the dog was going. I know my fiancee had talked to them about having the choice if we could breed her or not. I don't know how the conversation went, he did all the talking and negotations. I was told on the way there where we were going, and we were going to pick her up lol I know he had talked with one person before this and had told me and I said NO way I smelt red flags!! I was strict to tell him what he should ask and find out. I don't know how well he did, but good idea I think I will have him call the breeder and ask about the parents.
