| Bellybands Ok...I keep reading about bellybands and I have no idea what they are. I've seen pictures of them, but really don't know the significance of them. Can somebody explain to me why it's important to have bellybands; especially if you have a male puppy? If this is a stupid question I apologize. I just want to know what it is before I go out and buy some for my new arrival. Thanks!!! |

| Belly Bands are used to help keep male yorkies from urinating in unwanted places, it goes around the belly and has a sanitary pad in it. Here is a pic....I made my own, but there are alot of people on this site that sell them.

I was wondering what I am going to do when he gets old enought to hike his leg. i know that right now, he will squat on the pee pad. he already uses a pee pad at the breeders. i guess the band is the solution for the leg hiking. | |

| They wear them whenever you dont want them to have any accidents on the floor....Yoda mostly wore his when we went to visit at someones house...I did not want him to potty on their floor. He only wore them for a short time, just until about 12 weeks then I knew that I could trust him...I have also heard that some use them to keep the boys from getting a girl pregnant.

| When my girls are in season, my Woody seems to disconnect his brain. He tags (hikes) on anything, that's when the Belly Band goes on. Belly Bands are great in protecting your furniture. |
