what is neutrical? hi can anybody please tell me what neutrical is? i read in another thread that this along with calcium and taping thier ears helps the ear to go up. also should i give this to my 8 wk pup to help his ears go up? has anybody else use this method if so does this and the calcium come in liquid form that you put into thier water or does it come in capsules that you have to mix in thier food? or should i just not give him anything and just tape his ears. i only give him food( royal canin for pups) and water, occasionally as a snack i give him people food. what should i do?

Hello, Nutrical is a high caloric supplement that has lots of vitamins and nutrients that has a high sugar content. Most young puppies need it expecially little puppies like yorkies because of their size, they are prone to hypoglycemia, that is when their sugar level gets too low, and they get wobbly or energy level falls, or seems depressed. But just to be safe it is a good thing to give to your puppy until they are eating well. As of nutrical helping their ears go up... I know nothing of. I think taping it is a good idea, but feeding it nutrical, i personally think it will not help it in that area. when i got my puppy, she was very little like 1.5lbs at 8 wks... and i had no idea about hypoglycemia in toy breeds. I didnt know what nutrical was, and boy was that a bit of information that would have saved me $500 in vet bills. She ended up going to the emer. room because she looked like she was going to pass out.... so just to be safe, i would get it and feed it to her until she is eating very good on her own. lots of love to your little puppy.

As to the ears coming up. I just shaved the whole ear inside and out and that did the trick! Pat
