hee hee.. cute puppy!!! lexy my female yorkie her ears didnt go up until she was about 3 months... but floppy ears are wonderfull 2.. =) give it a lil bit of time and hopefully his ears start goin up...and the potty training.. mmmm my female does the same .. she will pee in her potty training pads but when she poops its 50/50 if she will or not poop in the pads.. what I started doing was giving her a small lil a day for poopin in her pads and so far last nite and today.. her poop was in the pads....

I gotta admit our fur babies!! are super smart hee hee..

Welcome to the YT family..... There is probably more info about potty training than any other thing here on YT. So if you look, you'll find all kinds of information, ideas, suggestions and lots of crying. lol

Mine's ears were going up at two months.

Just curious, but why do you doubt his age? Don't mean to be rude, I was just wondering.

Oh no, I dont think it is rude.
Just because I see other pups at 8 or 9 weeks and they are so tiny. He is tiny to me at 3 lbs. lol I dont know, maybe he is only 9 weeks. Also, the owner gave me pics of him and said they were taken 2 days before I picked him up. His ears were floppy in those pics. Now, they are kinda perky. Whatever his age, I am in love with him & he is getting spoiled! hehe Thank you, I will start searching the bulletins.

VERY GOOD POINT! The vet probably would have told me. I take him for his second booster in 1 week. Thanks again, I definetely want him to be protected from all diseases.

OMG! I am in Rockwall! hehe I was lucky, a sweet couple just wanted to breed their dog with her brothers to get a pup for someone in their family. So, she sold him to me for 300.00. We just wanted a pet, not for breeding at all so we definitely werent going to pay a ton.

I've never used Petsmart for training, grooming, etc. Honestly, I've heard too many disappointing things about them.

My hubby named him. I thought it was so cute. I suggested Bailey and when he said, Baxter, I knew that was it! I am so thankful for this forum! I know I will learn alot from all of you. (I am already thinking I need a lil girl too). All the dress up for the girls look like so much fun! But, I have a feeling my boy will get fixed up too! hehe

There are a few of us living within 30 miles of eachother and we often get together for play dates. We will let you know the next time we go. Last thursday we went downtown Dallas with 7 Yorkies and had lunch at Mi Cocina. It was too funny. All the resturants with Patios are Dog Friendly. Welcome....

Welcome, My Kodak's ear's went up then went back down and never went back up again. They told me I left to much hair on his ears and they weighed them down. He's adorable, floppy ears and all. Your Baxter is a cutie pie.
When I started taking him outside, I put his poop from inside in the grass so he could smell it when we went out. I had to be patient and keep him out long enough to use it. I even tossed a ball around to make him play outside then he would stop and pee, then he would poop. Everytime he pooped on the pad, I put it outside in the grass, lol, it worked to. I then had to notice the tell tell signs of watching him run fast in a circle looking to pee or poop. I then took him right outside and I gave him a tiny treat once he used it. Try to keep the pads confined to one area. If they see a pad in each room, they think they are free to pee anywhere in the house. I took other's advice on here and tried not to let them in another room until after they used it outside or on the pads first. Good luck!

Very good, thank you! Did you allow him to sleep with a potty pad? It sounds like some do and others dont on here.
