| ![]() Jackson doesn't have floppy ears but I was kind of hoping for them to stay floppy when he was a pup.... hehe. It didn't happen and he's still cute, but I love the floppy ears!

| ![]() Well I took Mia to a new groomer. The lady did a good job but there were some things I didnt like. For example she shaved her ears. Now the're up no longer floppy she still looks cute but I miss the floppy ears. |

| ![]() George's ear stand up (always havesince I got him) but I haven't trimmed them yet so they are all fluffy, they remind us of moths, in the mornings when he wakes up they are down until he is fully awake so gorgeous I love them up or down, just can't resist kisses him

Yorkies can pull off any look, I swear....long tails, short tails, long noses, short noses...3 lbs, or 30 lbs. They're all so adorable!

| ![]() I'm not saying they aren't cute, to me a Yorkie isn't a Yorkie unless its ears aren't up. I've heard some owners of silkies like the trait of the ears being down. It's like a fashion statement., or Logo if you will. |

| ![]() I understand fully what you are saying. Everyone kept telling me to shave Mia's ears so they can come up. It was done today. She looks lotally different still cute but very different. It was amazing as soon as all the hair was gone those ears came right up. |

| ![]() I love Yorkies either way! I love the ears up & I also love them down. Yorkies are just beautiful dogs. Jesse is 5 1/2 months & she has floppy ears, but they' ve never been shaved. |

| ![]() One of my furbabies, Shiloh, has floppy ears and his sister, Lorelei, has perked ears. I love them both! Shiloh's ears have always been floppy and I wouldn't have it any other way. They are just part of his boyish charm ![]() Shiloh Present: http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ses/ShiShi.jpg Shiloh as a Baby: http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ShilohBed2.jpg

| ![]() I love all of these pictures of floppy ears! Kandi is too precious! When I first started looking for yorkie puppies and yorkie info, I was totally of the crowd of "My yorkie's ears will stand! I will shave and tape and be on top of it." And then little Allie's floppy ears melted my heart! She is amazingly cute with those ears. Besides, they stand up when she looks up and gravity pulls them ![]()

| ![]() I want my Yorkies ears standing erect. But I too, love the pictures of the floppy eared Yorkies. They almost look like a different breed, it changes their appearance so much. Even with a puppy the changes having to do with their ears are amazing. When they start out their ears are down, then they may go any which way. I have a cute picture of Sadie where one flopped forward and one flopped backward. Then they either decide to flop together or stand erect. Occasionally you will get one that splits. But each change, completely changes the look of the pup. All my puppies ears stood by themselves even before trimming. But without a trim their ears looked huge! When I trimmed this last little puppies ears, my son almost thought he was a different puppy. Nope, same one, just no more huge ears! LOL! I guess the ears are a very expressive part of the Yorkie. You can see a lot of different looks just with the change of the ears, up/down, trimmed/untrimmed. Anyway you look at them though, you gotta love a Yorkie!
