| Is there anyway to take her back to the breeder, she is really too young and small to be away from her mom.

I would just really make sure she gets the nutracal and as long as she's eating and drinking she will be fine. Remember she only has a teenie tiny belly so she is not going to eat a tremendous amount all at once. I would offer some food every hour or so. Maybe take her to the vet and they will be able to really guide you. Good luck with her and Keep us posted.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | The most important thing is to make sure she is eating frequently and if not eating well give the nutrical. If she seems real lethargic, wobbly or weak, I would get her to the vet as soon as possible. I would make sure to get up during the night and feed her to make sure her sugar levels stay up. Is she eating moist kibble or canned food? She may eat canned easier for now. Please keep us posted.

| I'm sorry you're going through this from your breeder! Sounds like you're doing everything you should be doing. I agree that you should go to your vet. They can physically see / feel your baby and let you know how she's doing. Congratulations on the addition of her! She will want to be with you as much as possible right now as she's use to being with her little doggy pack and now that's you ;o) Please, let us know how she's doing.

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | omg she is so tiny...and only 6 weeks old... i would not feed her milk....that will give her an upset tummy....make sure to give her some nutrical and if the food is too hard for her as if her teeth are not all in...soak the kibbles in some warm water until soften...then let her eat it...hope that helps.

| I'm sure she tried to have the breeder keep the puppy but obviously she couldn't or else she wouldn't have an issue. She stated that the mama is starting to get agressive toward the baby. She just needs to know what to do now. The problem is now what? Let's just try to help her with the situation she is in. She need advice not " oh, bring her back she's too young" We all already know that.

| My baby came to me at 7 weeks. She rarely pooped or peed. If you can't get her to eat her soft/wet food try hand feeding it to her, Bayli did much better that way. Just keep a close watch on her and keep giving her the nutrical. Keep us updated!

| I got Chloe at 7 wks and 1 lb. She and I both did fine and you will too. You do have to stay right on it tho. I can tell you what I did and hope that helps. First warm her kibble in HOT water and stir until it is soft and mushy. By the time it is soft it will have cooled down for her. Chloe never needed Nutrical all tho I had it here for her. When I was preparing her food she would be so anxious she would bark at me and it nearly knocked her off her feet. I fed her 4 times a day all she would eat for about 30 min. If I felt she hadn't eaten enough, I left dry kibble down. She got me up every two hrs to pee or poo during the night for the first month. I thought I would die, I'm not a kid any more. Keep her warm. It will be easier for you now, I had Chloe during the winter. I never had any problem with her pooping. She always went right after eating and went about 3 times a day altogether. I don't work so it was easy for me to watch her. I took her to my Vet the day after I got her and she checked out OK so no health problems. Today she is 6 lbs and 9 mos. She has never had a sick day. As long as she has no health problems, just feed, water, potty, and warmth and all the love you have to give. She'll do fine. You on the other hand will need a big rest in about one month. After a month with Chloe I think I slept the whole weekend when my DH was here to take over. Enjoy her and if you have any questions, please PM me, I would love to talk to you. | Best of luck tomorrow at that vet! I wonder if they will have anything to say about her young age, if 8wks is the law, do they report breeders who are breaking the law, I wonder? Sounds like you puppy is eating pretty good, and drinking water so I wouldn't worry to much about not drinking the puppy milk. let us know how it goes at the vet
