My 2 year old likes to go on the boat and the more she goes, the more she loves it. This will be my baby boys first summer so he is in for a treat. Basil (oldest) wears a life jacket as she can't swim

so to be prepared, TT (baby boy) will get a lifevest this year as well. I have never used a leash as mine has never tried to leap out.

My FIL has a boat so Stormy is going to get a life jacket and I will have to bring her out to see how she likes it, I think she would enjoy it, car rides are her favourite!

Layla is so cute! We are definetly going to take Louis out now. We took him to a dog park yesterday, and they have a pond just for dogs and he was alright in the water. Now, I am just waiting on his lifejacket to be delivered!

I took my Ambrose on a boat last summer. He loved it. My fiance's parents have a pontoon boat and we just attached his leash to one of the chairs. He got very angry at the waves the boat made though. He barked at them.

I know you are talking about real boats, but I just bought a new kayak (sold my first one) because the new one has a seat for Sophie. She wasn't real crazy about the first one, but the new one has much more room. Last Sunday we tried it for the first time, and although she wasn't over joyed by the new seat, she seemed to like sitting in the hull which has so much more room for her. It was really fun, and I hope to take her out on the lake this summer after work.
