Love it! This was such a great idea! How has it been working? I bet you just love it! I am always on the ground with my two. I need to set something up! Fabulous! |
I thought about doing Shelby Rae's grooming myself because she hates going to the groomer and i hate the way they put her in a cage till i get there and I make them call me as soon as they're done so I can go get her...but the thing that holds me back is that I'm terrified of doing her toenails...i heard they can bleed out if you cut them too short.... |
What an awesome grooming space and how cool is that towel rack!!!!! I think I might need to do something like this for Roxy when she gets bigger!! I am definately going to buy a towel rack for her clothes though!! What an awesome idea!! |
Wow! You did a great job. It's no wonder your dogs are so beautiful. I could only wish to be that organized :p |

Thanks for sharing - great ideas! I noticed kennel is covered - what did you cover it with? I like it:D |
What a wonderful setup. What a great idea for the towel racks. I store all of my babies' things in the laundry room (their room) which is right off of the kitchen. I do all of the grooming on an island in my kitchen. I have most of my grooming supplies in a cute bag that I can just carry over so its a breeze. I like your set up though.. making me think about trying something new!;) |
Great Idea! My new little Cooper is coming to live with me on Friday!!! :DI can't wait. I cleared out an extra room in my house and will definitly use your ideas in there. I will try to post some pics when I get things done. |

Grooming Area Great Idea......I set up my Grooming Area on top of my Dryer I have a portable Grooming Table from Petedge, the kind that rotates. On my washing machine I have a Dog Couch/Bed and I use one of the cabinets over head to store all their Grooming Supplies. It's a few steps away from the Sink in the Kitchen, its convenient for Bathing and brushing their Teeth. I have my Table/Chairs in the Dining Room so we don't Eat near it. I do all of their "Grooming" myself I do all 3 like an Assembly line every morning. Having a designated area keeps you organized and makes Grooming quicker/easier and gets them used to a routine, they know once they are done we are going "Bye Bye":) |
Wonderful ideas.. we are doing renovations last summer and now this summer.. so when it is time for my laundry room.. it will also be for my dogs grooming area... I have had my plans for awhile and just hope it looks as nice... thanks for sharing..anne |
Wow, what a great grooming area! Before my DH built my grooming/dog room I had to use the kitchen counter! Gosh how I hated that.... I've been grooming dogs professionally for 33 years, it only took 19 of those years to get a grooming area of my own! |
Nancy did a great job on her set-up. I'd really like to see everyone else's, too. Pictures please.... :D |
since this is a subject sorta about grooming? I have some questions. how soon can you bath a puppy? what is a good shampoo and conditioner? This may sound crazy , but I myself use this silk serum in my hair when dry ,makes it silky. Do they have this for yorkes? |

Nancy that is the greatest. I could actually do that in my office, if I wanted to give up my sewing table. My sewing machine is on another table, this is just where I cut out fabric...and right now I'm not sewing much. So, you've got my brain a clickin'. I've already got the little cabinet with the drawers. Sure would be nice to have my bathroom free of doggie grooming supplies. Great Idea, thanks for the tip |

Love it !!!! Joey is sooo cute !! What a great idea !!!! I will do this !! Check Kmart for the folding table on the cheap when on sale, like every few weeks same table on sale. The dollar store has lot of plastic container for your grooming stuff. and I buy baby wash cloths and blanklet there too ! and Bed Bath & Beyond I pick up the hand free hair blower holder, It stand on it's own you u have different heights , I use it for me too ! ha !! ha!!! And I use the 20 % coupons I sign up for and they never , ever expired. I have learn here on YT how to do my own grooming and the nails, so that a big saving, I was spending at least 50-60 per dogs plus tips. I don't go to hair dresser only every 3 month for a cut, I do my dried and up keep myself. I'm ret and I save my money to spend it on my furbabies things, like nice cloths, and supplied and don't forget mommy our toys, we need toys Lol !!!! Thanks again Nancy bark@ulater!!!!! manina, miley:aimeeyork, max:animal36 |
