| ![]() Is there a link to Sue Cricket's video? Do you add the buttons and/or beads before or after you stiffen your bows? |

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() I think you add the buttons or other embelishments last. I've made alot of craft projects using stiffener and usually after everything is dry it's easier to add your little extra's.

| ![]() I too sew bows. I use the sewing machine and sew by hand as well. The bow part by machine. The bands and beads by hand. I used to make seasonal ones when I was part of a meetup group and give them away. One per yorkie. Now I just do it for fun for my girls. It sure does give you a sense of pride when people compliment you on your babies and their bows. I just grin ear to ear. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I get a lot of supplies off of ebay as well. If I were to use clips I would use alligator clips. I also make bows for kiddos but most of the people I make them for want the snap clippies. I perfer alligator clips though. Do you use embellishments when you make your kids bows?? If so, where do you find them?? I am desperate for cute kids buttons!!
