I agree for the most part. I hope he is alright.

I sure hope that the breeder is giving him the proper vet care and doing everything possible to get him better.

First the health guarantee is a joke!! You should atleast get a one year health guarantee.

Secondly, I went to their website, they have several breeds of dogs they breed, HUGE RED FLAG!!

I know you want a yorkie to add to your life that you can love but please do the research.

Here are a few things you want to pay attention to....

Health guarantee, 1 year and up is best. Make sure you read it thoroughly and understand it. Many will only give a replacement pup and if you get a sick puppy do you really want another pup from the same person with the possibility of it being sick as well?

Breeds. If they are breeding more than three than I wouldn't go with them as well.

You also will want to see how many breeding adults they have. One person can't possibly care for 30 breeding adults and pups and have them all in great shape.

You also need to go with someone who knows their pedigrees and lines. And it is very important that the parents have been tested prior to breeding for common diseases found in the breed, such as LP and Liver shunt to name a couple.

Age. Letting puppies go to their new homes before 12 weeks is also a red flag. Puppies need that time to be with the siblings and mother to learn the proper socialization skills and such.


If you can, see where the parents and pups are being raised. You don't want to get one from a dirty environment.
This also gives you a chance to see how the puppies interact with their litter mates and other people.

These are just a few essentials you need to look out for when looking for a healthy puppy from a good breeder.


Take your time finding the right puppy, you won't regret it!!

I am glad that you have provided this information to the OP however if you go back and read all his / hers past post you will see that SEVERAL people from this board have given advise countless number of times over and over and over and over again prior to the purchase of Munchie!

I agree with you 100 percent!! She has been asking questions for several weeks now, everything from male/female to "Im not sure i should get one because of my other dog" finally gets a yorkie and in less than a week returns it because he had a cold???? Very odd.
She should already have enough knowlegde from all the posting and reading that she has done from this forum alone to know how to pick a puppy appropriatly.

I'm shocked too! I had been following about Munchie and I would in no way ever give a puppy back...i too fall in love the minute I got my baby..this is very disturbing..

Not to offense the OP, but something not right!
1. I never heard a vet keeping a dog over night for a simple cold! that a might high vet bill for a cold! unless it was kennel cough and it would be quarantined.
2. I had to give one of my puppies back to the breeder and it killed me, and I only had the pup for 24 hrs, Pup pasted away 7 days later and I was in constant contact with the breeder!
We need more explanation as to whats going on.

I see that now. The whole situation is just ridiculous. None of it makes sense.

I really don't think the OP is ready for a yorkie or any dog for that matter. If you don't take the advice given and just look for a "cheaper yorkie" you are just asking for a sick puppy.
