| At what age can I start to put a bow? Hello everyone I have a 13 week old puppy. His hair is growing slowly on the head. But at what age can I start him get use so something on his head like a little bow? I want to put bows in his hair as he grows older, but I want him to get use to it. Thanks Mily |

| I would suggest trying him with just a rubber band at first. This will get him used to having his topknot in but won't drive him crazy from the feel of a bow. You can do it as soon as his hair is long enough to pull into a band. Get the small slick plastic bands they won't pull his hair out or break it off when you are putting it in or taking it out. |

| I would start putting it up as soon as the hair is long enough to stay back. You might also try using little kids barrettes or clippies to hold it back if its not quite long enough for a rubberband yet.

| HiYa, You can start when he has hair to work with. You can get the tiny rubber type bands at Walmart/Target. They come in black and clear and are so reasonable you can just cut it out so not to pull out any hair. There are some ladies on here that make boy bows for later on, so be on the look out.. Have Fun with it.... Sharon
