| Have you used garlic to keep Fleas Away? Has anyone here given their yorkies garlic to help keep fleas away. I know some dog foods contain minimal amounts of garlic but does anyone give additional tablets? I found this link and wondered if it would be a good natural remedy.... Please share your experience with garlic or knowledge. Thanks. Garlic Valley Farms - Premium Garlic Juice Spray in Two Flavors

Donating YT 500 Club Member | We used a garlic/brewers yeast powder all the time year round when we had our big dogs. Used it for years. Never had flee problems. Dogs got so they wouldn't eat without their extra 'treat' on their food. The yorkie is new to me & haven't decided if that's the way to go or not. It seems they may be quite different from any of our big dogs we've had. I have noticed some dog foods w/garlic in them though.

| Hi! All I've ever heard about garlic is that it can be toxic in large doses... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/new...te=1&p=2636335 But that's not to say it's a bad remedy in small amounts. Aren't strawberries technically toxic for humans in large amounts, too? |
