Sassy Girl Hello, I am new to this site. I was looking for info on collapsed tracha. My vet told me yesterday that is what Sassy girl has. She is a year old and has just started coughing. This worries me. I have read alot of info posted on this site and it has been helpful. Thank you

Trachea Hi, Mia has this collasped trachea and usually gets it when she's excited. My Vet said to stroke her throat gently and talk softly to her to make her relax. I also massage her body, little circles and tell her it's alright, and it seems to help her relax. The first time it happened, I paniced, but my Vet said it is common in little dogs. I hope this will help you a little and your baby.. Lila & Mia

There are many YTers with experience in this area. I think you will find what you are looking for somewhere on this site. I agree you should look in the health section and never use a collar. Good luck!
