| It's normal for a new puppy in a new environment. He just needs to get comfortable. You can try hand feeding him a few kibbles and see if he'll take it. Otherwise, just give it some time. |

| Do have Nutrical on hand? Or Kayro Syurp ? rub a little on his gums. This will keep his Blood sugar from dropping. He is in a new home. And it is not uncommon for a little puppy not to want to eat at first. Call your breeder and check to see when the last time it was that he ate. Make sure he is at least drinking water. Are you offereing the same food hewas eating from the breeder? Leave it on the floor so he can eat when he wants to, and make sure the pup knows where his food is. You can mix some boiled chicken in with his food, to entice him to eat as well.

| I have the Nutri cal and the breeder gave him some at 2:00 before we left. He ate around 12. I have the same food. He has drunk some goat milk but no water. He's sleep now. Think I will just let him sleep and see what happens when he gets up. Thank You everyone. Just new to this and need all the help I can get |

| Baby food ? I'm no expert, but we used Beef flavored BABY FOOD.....with a syringe. The breeder did recommend putting just a little Karo syrup in there to prevent hypoglycemia (plus they seem to like the taste). One baby was six weeks when we got her, our second eight weeks (they should be starting in on dry food around that 8 week age). How old is your puppy ? I wouldn't fret too much, but they do need to eat, our breeder recommended three times a day to make sure they get the proper nutrition. Anyone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong !!!!!!! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Congrats on your new baby. If he won't eat soon just make sure to give him nutrical and watch for any signs of low sugar. Sometimes a little canned food will get them going.
