| I dont see anything wrong with dyeing a dog if the dye is nontoxic. I saw a cute poodle dyed pink before. I dont know if it would be as cute on a yorkie rather than a white dog since a yorkie is colored

| i don't like the schnauzer cut on the yorkie either! it looks good on a schnauzer, not on a yorkie. if i ever dyed milu's hair, it would probably be to dye it darker if it turns light in the future. but then again, that just sounds like way too much effort! i like natural colors on dogs just like i like natural colors on people. i don't think it looks good when someone has pink hair either. but people can do whatever makes them happy. even at the expense of my bleeding eye balls.

| I cut Sadie in what we called a Schnauzer cut one very hot summer but it was only the body!!! I was trying to give her some relief from the heat and the short hair on top with just a thin skirt around the bottom helped. I would never dream people would cut the face and head of a yorkie like a schnauzer! Like another poster said -- if that is the look you want, why not just buy a schnauzer to start with. The video really did look homely to me and I'll bet that was once a pretty little Yorkie! But I have to remind myself that everyone has different tastes. Obviously someone liked that look and if it was their Yorkie then so be it. As long as no one gets hurt, to each his own. But I also do not have to like it.

| The pink didn't bother me. It's the fact that they used a cut SPECIFIC of one breed on another... isn't that like a groomer no-no? LOL... I wouldn't know... I'm just a mommy of a yorkie. It's different that's for sure. |

| Jemma is tooo damn fussy when it comes to clothes. She will pull and try to tear a sweater or her PJ's. But get her dress out and she acts like she's going to the ball. She never tries to take it off. Go figure. Naaa, can't go for the dye thing. Jemma would divorce me as her Mommy. Carol and Jemma hmmmmm, now maybe we can frost and streak the hair. Hey might look cute. hehe Last edited by Jemma; 05-24-2009 at 10:06 AM. |
