How about a BATH and soaking a cloth on the ears ? I've never heard of this but I bet it will come off - I've used eyelashes and the glue isn't really waterproof |
Thanks Julz, I never really thought about that but you are right, it does say something about avoiding contact with skin. I will try the babyoil and the bath that Villette said. The box says it is waterproof, but maybe not. |
I would not use goof off at all on your baby. That seems kinda dangerous. |
there is eyelash glue remover I hate to try this but perhaps try a bit of finger nail polish remover I bet that will desole it and wash the little ears once you have them removed with a good shampoo. the eyelash remover can be bought at any walmart, target or walgreens I am sure...and would be the safest thing to use! |

You have no idea how relieved I am that you got to read this before going to the store. Let us know what works...I hope it goes smoothly and without any pain or complications. Don't beat yourself up over it either, you were just trying to get the ears up. |
Well guys, I finally got the glue off. I went to walmart and they didn't have any eyelash glue remover, but I did find some eye makeup remover that said it would even remove waterproof mascara and stuff. So I thought well if it is safe enough for our eyes, it was ok. I just soaked a cotton pad and dabbed it on and rubbed some, and after a few min it started coming off. YYYAAAYYY!!! So now it is off and wouldn't you know it, her ears are STILL floppy. :( |
Floppy too Ciera\'s mom, my Lucy\'s ears look just like Ciera\'s. They are completely floppy. I don\'t think Lucy\'s will ever stand, I don\'t think I want to tape them but I did shave all the hair off her entire ear to see if that would help. That was almost a week ago and there\'s no change. I\'m glad you got the glue off. |
