| We use the flea and tick crystals in our yard. We don't let Laddy out until it has been thoroughly watered and dried. He has done fine with it as have all our past furkids, and it really does the trick. |

| We are going to have to use something on our yard as well, just remeber whatever you do use to lock you're little ones in the house and keep them there until it dries or it is watered in depending on what kind you use. We always spray before we are expecting a rain. Here this morning I put on a pair of jeans, long sleeve shirt socks and shoes and sprayed for poision we have some in front and back yard and I kept the dog door closed off for 2 - 3 hours after I sprayed it and it also looks like we are going to get some rain here sometime today as well. Sad thing is, I ran out of spray before I got finished so, I will have to get some more to finish it off. We even have some poison growing up the back of the house off the porch. I sprayed the you know what out of that area. Sorry didn't mean to get off topic. Good luck with whatever you spray.

| Ok, thank you! I use an Ortho spray around doors and windows and it really works to keep insects out of the house. I guess I didn't realize Ortho makes the granules, too.

| A couple of friends mentioned at lunch that they use 'Sevin' (either dust or a spray) in their yards. Apparently it's one of the safer insecticides on the market. Has anyone used this? Does it work?

| I don't trust the Sevin Dust when I was a kid my dad used that around where our baby raccoons slept. Two days later they all died. Dad said they had probably walked through the area and then licked their little paws. |
