| Lexie Update Well, the vets office called this morning, they got one of the 2 tests back, it showed a bacteria infection that had gone in to her kidneys. The lepto test came back this afternoon(they just called 1/2 hour ago), it was negative, as my husband and I had tried telling them there was no way she could have lepto. They said now that they know what it is for sure, they are treating her with high doses of anti biotics and if we brought her home tonight, she would never make it, but, if we can leave her another night or two she will make it. My hubby said to the vet tech, you tell Dr Jordan one way or the other, we are bringing her home tomorrow night, we don't have the extra money for all of this. Right now, the bill is going to be around $1300 or a little more. She's a good vet, but, dang, sometimes you feel like they're trying to get all the $ out of you they can get. |

| I'm hopeful that since they identified the problem, the chances are good that they can cure it with antibiotics. Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way.
