Dont worry some just dont have that smell on their paws cause Teddy has it but London doesnt and sophie didnt either so idk why he has it but sometimes i do smell it on him.

omg i know just what you mean. When Sophie passed we brought her body home for the dogs to sniff her and say goodbye and i just couldnt let her go and stop kissing her, i was smelling her like crazy cause i loved her smell, it was like a baby all the time! So i cut a piece of her hair to keep forever but i dont smell it on that piece of hair but when i let the dogs smell it they go crazy so i guess they still do. But i miss her smell. They DEF all have very diff. smells. Teddy smells diff. from London and Sophie as well but i love them all. Im sure if i got another she would smell diff. too lol

Oh my gosh, Sarah, this is funny that you posted this because, hubby and I were talking the other day how we like their natural doggie smell, I almost posted this but don't want it people to think I'm crazy or sick

The smell of puppies is my favorite smell in the world!!! I always tell my boyfriend how much I love how Layla smells... she has a distinct smell to her face when she gets tear stains. I actually find it hard to go to sleep after bathing her and washing her face. The smell of the tear stain remover doesn't do it for me... I don't care how clean it smells! I just love the smell of my dog while she's sucking on the corner of my pillow as we fall asleep together
