Question about petstore puppies

so if we don't buy from pet stores that means we don't support the puppymills.. meaning the puppymills will get the puppies back? or they will have to slow down the massive breeding..

but what happens to those puppies? they stay there forever? i never really understood where they went.. poor puppies.

You can start with www.wizardofclaws.com They're probably the most notorious example. There are other puppy mills who pay people a percentage to sell puppies out of the paper from their homes, etc.

Petstores usually buy from Puppymills at the same price you could buy them from this breeder and then sell them for a lot more. Also, some have lots of health problems.. my aunt bought a cat from a petstore and it has a LOT of problems.. then she bought a shih tzu from the same one.. and when she took it home it was very sick.. it had to have surgery for a hernia and had a heart murmer.. she didn't know these things when she bought it.
