| I don't see a lot of difference based on their gender, but there is a lot of difference because of their personalities. Each is as individual as people. I've had male and female be equally loving, cuddly, loyal, demanding, independent, finicky. It really just depends on their personalities. If you are trying to decide if you want a male or female, I would encourage you to simple go with an open mind & heart and let the dog/puppy pick you.

| Louis is such a sweetie, and he loves to cuddle. I've heard that females are the same way too. I want to get a female next. I agree, let the dog choose you! |

| milu is my first dog and she is female. i agree that each individual puppy is different. but i think a general rule of thumb is that boys are more cuddly and girls are more independent. milu will cuddle with me when she wants to. but when she doesn't want to cuddle, she is really independent and wants to do her own thing.
