| Boy Becoming a Man My Yorkie is a lover and not a fighter. He loves to cuddle and follows me around the house. He puts his head on my pillow and gives me kisses in the morning. Starting last week, I saw my dog marking on one of my trees in the backyard. Then I thought to myself my boy is becoming a man. I need to stop putting off his neutering, and schedule for his neutering as soon as possible. LOL After marking, he chased a bird. My dog never chased anything besides his toys before. Today the delivery man delivered our TV today, and Josh turned into an alert dog. I am so proud of him, because I always wanted to own the spunky terrier that was not afraid of anything. Just like children, our babies grow up fast. Don’t we love those terrier personalities? They change inside and outside has they reach adulthood. Does anybody have any similar stories? |

| LOL, I remember thinking the same thing! I was at first like awww, he's becoming a little man! But then I quickly went... uh-oh, neuter time! Hah. Jackson got neutered 3 weeks or so ago now and he marks outside (which I don't mind!) but never indoors.

| Thanks guys for the comments. I felt the same way you guys did about your dog. I am going to put this information on my blog. When my dog was a puppy, he was scared of everything. He was scared of cars, strangers, and loud noises. He used to hide underneath the bed when the fire alarm siren came on. Now he is becoming a spunky and bold dog, and I just love it. He is no longer scared of everything. I worked very hard to build his confidence. I am watching my dog blossom. |
