Thanks everyone!!! She had a stressful day with traveling, meeting her new family, exploring her new home, etc. She slept on my chest for a couple hours. I woke her up about half an hour ago, took her outside to potty (she did!!) and when she came back in, her energy was through the roof! She was hopping around like a bunny!! She would go under our breakfast bar stools and get all fiesty with Leo, like she was a tough girl, but wouldn't come out from under the protection of those stools

.

So far she has pottied outside twice, eaten, had some water, and NO ACCIDENTS!!!! I know, I'm probably jinxing myself. Right now she is sleeping with daddy and I'm about to kidnap her and bring her back to me.

It's been a GREAT day.

I am so impressed by this girl!! We put up a pack-n-play for her to sleep in in our bedroom. She slept through the WHOLE night, didn't pee or poop in her crib. I got up this morning at about 6:30, took both dogs out, she ran over, peed, pooed, then ran back to me!!!! Is this girl smart or what????? I hope she keeps it up!

Wow, great news...not only is she a cutie but she's a smartie as well. You keep up the good work with her and be sure she knows how happy it makes you when she goes potty outside. Winston was exactly like this, he never ever had an accident in the house, but I watched him constantly never giving him too much room to roam and he was taken outside often until he was able to tell me when he had to go. Way to go, I'm so proud of you!!!

Thanks!! That's how I am - I'm hyper-vigilant. She is never out of my sight. I had to leave for about an hour today so I put her in her playpen with a pee pad. When I got home, I saw she had peed on it!! I'm seriously so amazed at this girl. She just seems to know where she's supposed to potty.
