| brokers etc. My Yorkie ist almost 2 but I have only had him for 5 months. He has had a tough life, but he is improving every day. I'm doing research into his background - just got some info today that I did not have before - and think he was brokered to a pet shop. What exactly is the process of brokering? Is this a reputable way to sell puppies? Also, has anyone heard of Sugartree Kennels. This is not the Sugar Tee Yorkies which appear to be a good breeder (in my limited knowledge of these things) but I think this other place may not be as reputable. New to Yorkie Talk - thanks for your help. Kay Cee In Schaumburg, IL |

| The HUNT Corporation is the largest puppy broker in the country. If you do a search you will find all types of information about what they do. But in a nut shell, they purchase puppies and transport them around the country to whom ever has put in an order. Here is what they portrait themselves as: The Hunte Corporation - Where Puppies Come First Here is what they really are: Petstore Cruelty Take a look a the truck.......it is filled with puppies from mills being transported to your local pet shop! I have seen these trucks before and just want to cry know what is going on inside of them.

| [B] Where is YOUR Sugartree Kennels located. I googled and found a few SugarTree Kennels. If you let me know the location I can check for USDA Licenses. If your guy was sold to a petstore or brokered to a petstore then the breeders would have had to be USDA Licensed which would more then mean that your guy came from a mill which is a commercial breeding facility. | Kay Cee, I am Josh from Sugar Tree Yorkies. I believe Sugartree Kennels (at least the one by that name that was in my area) either went out of business or was put out of business. From what limited knowledge I have of them, they were less than reputable breeders. I have received two emails about them in the past from people who have gotten puppies originally owned by them, and in both cases the puppies/dogs were in pretty bad shape.
