| Solution to Swimming Pool Worries I hope it is okay to post this link. It is not my link, and I do not sell these ramps. It's just that I have read quite a few threads related to pups drowning lately, and thought this might offer a solution to those who have swimming pools. Admin, if I'm out of line posting the link, just let me know or delete. Skamper Ramp Dog Water Safety Ramp Stop Dog Drowning - eBay (item 200328119312 end time May-04-09 13:54:13 PDT)

| After the recent heartbreaking accidents, I'm thinking about getting one of the alarms that go off if something falls into the pool. |

| This thing is great, it's saved my girls a couple of times. I was right there and would have jumped in, but didn't have to! Only thing is, it only lasts a couple of years, the chlorine eats into the seams on the sides and it falls apart. My husband saw the same one at our pool supply place for $40, so you may want to check your local places first. We ordered the first one through the Humane Society, so I suppose some of that mark up is profits for them, not a bad thing

| Anyone who has a pool please get one of these or make some kind of ramp. I lost 2 of my beloved English Bulldogs in our pool. They both fell in sometime during the night (they had a doggie door) and drowned. We had them for over 6 years before this happened. Please protect your babies. Betty |

| I was just telling my bf this morning that I don't even want a pool anymore because I am sooo worried about the babies. Thank you so much for posting this, I am definitely going to buy one. I want to buy several and place them all over the pool.
