I am impressed! Meg acts like I'm torturing her. She usually just clamps her mouth shut and tosses her head back and forth so I can't get a good grip on her.

Oh yeah, you have to use dog toothpaste, Joey loves the poultry flavored kind, but you could try a little peanut butter on it, just to get a photo!

Get the toothbrush out everyday and play with it they will then know its fun. I started to leave Tias in her toy box and she started to bring it to me ! lol She still does she thinks its a game.

I brush my girls teeth but never thought about taking a picture, will need help from hubby on this one lol

I use the Petrodex also, and he likes the flavor. Also, when I started his brushing regimen I would rub the toothpaste on my finger and then rub my finger over his teeth and gums. He would let me do that without any problems. I then tried to convert him over to the toothbrush, however it scared him to death. Its color, size, everything about it frightened him. I've since converted to the finger tooth brush... its a clear rubber "sock" that goes over my index finger that has "bristles" on the end. Works like a charm!

There is no way I could get pix of the process, I have to sit on the floor with him between my legs and have a really, really good grip on him. He is patient for it, but certainly will take off the first chance he gets!

LOL! this looks exactly like Sophie when I am brushing her teeth. She darn near licks off all the toothpaste before the brush even gets into her mouth! I dont' have a pic, though. Gotta get the DH to take one. He's my personal photographer.

It's just so important.
Those pictures are priceless. I never thought to take a picture of
Buddy getting his teeth brushed. He allows me to with no problem
and we brush almost every day.

Initially, Calleigh tolerates her teeth being brushed if you can get past the very long tongue. Once the toothpaste wears off she becomes a twister and a fighter. She tries her best to get away. I wish I could do a better job. I suppose what I'm doing is better than not doing anything. My vet offers a dental shot. I hope it really does help.

Great shots, thank you so much! There are a little small, and I want to use them in a video, so if you have a bigger picture, please use that.

Joey's the same way, as soon as the toothpaste is gone, he'll start fighting me.

Thanks Shirl. Tricia really does a great job with April. I try to brush the same way by lifting up the lip on either side of the nose and brushing. At least I can see the sides. Getting the back and the front teeny weeny teeth are must more difficult. Keep trying is my motto!!
