I use the Petrodex also, and he likes the flavor. Also, when I started his brushing regimen I would rub the toothpaste on my finger and then rub my finger over his teeth and gums. He would let me do that without any problems. I then tried to convert him over to the toothbrush, however it scared him to death. Its color, size, everything about it frightened him. I've since converted to the finger tooth brush... its a clear rubber "sock" that goes over my index finger that has "bristles" on the end. Works like a charm!
There is no way I could get pix of the process, I have to sit on the floor with him between my legs and have a really, really good grip on him. He is patient for it, but certainly will take off the first chance he gets!
