omg I would have kicked him in the nuts, what an a hole, you have every right to be pissed, Im so sorry that happened to him and I hope he is okay. Im sorry you have to live next to the butt heads |
TURN HIM IN. Animal abuse is against the law, and kicking a dog is absolutely abuse. |
Protective order against him (anyone that kicks a little dog is trouble), have the police give him the vet bill for x-rays (Bogie could have suffered internal injuries), press charges for animal abuse. Then send out the invitations! We'll be there!!! |
I am just now reading this...good for you for protecting Bogey. Poor Bogey, i just had that horrible image of him greeting your neighbor and being thrown back, poor baby:( I would have thrown my neighbor out too. He is so mean, i prob. would have lost it. Something similar happened to me but with my King Charles when i was a teen. He used to bark a lot at strangers. Well one of my neighbors had lost his chihuahua that he loved so much and I could understand that and i felt bad for him. But one day my Charlie ran out my door and the guy was there and got scared and kicked him, before i even had a chance to get him. My Charlie squeeled in pain and ran back to me. I was so mad. And the fact that he had a dog before he shouldn't have been scared of him, a grown man..scared of a 15 lb dog. I was so mad and never spoke to him again. Years later he apologized and i accepted because i forgive and he was really sincere. It was a mistake and he did it w/o thinking. But in your case, your neighbor just sounds cruel. Your dogs weren't doing anything mean but greeting him, I just feel bad for Bogey:( |
Poor Bogey, he did not deserve that. If any of my neighbors ever thought of coming on my property and kicking Bree, I would break their foot. Things like this make me very anger and the nerve of him to try and justify his actions. No animal should ever be abused. |
It would be the last thing he would do!!:mad: |
hi, this is aweful! i dont know what your yard set up is in relation to the neighbors, but i would not let that doggie out of my sight, for fear that the guy would harm him or throw something into my yard that he could eat. that inncident you had would def. keep me scared. i just would not trust him. he sounds like a wild man. me and hubby are gentle people, but that would have put one of us in jail. |
Send him round here Alfie loves people that kick, he takes great delight in chewing up their ankles and leg sif they do it to him. |
I dont even live near Chicago and I'll come!! How dare he!! |
Not a nice guy...and possibly explains his wife freaken out on him all the time... |
Omg I am just reading this and wow what a jerk... and I know my husband wouldn't have been able to keep me off of him (and my husband is a big man)... I would have kicked his butt. Then my husband would have to come get me out of jail =(... but then I would have turned him in for kicking my dog=) Yea have a big cookout for everyone to bring their yorkies to... I might even fly there just to see what happens lol!! |
"The more people I know the more I love my dogs" it always was true and will be... My friends grandson is a 'shaken baby' and he has severe brain damage and is blind. His mother is still in jail waiting for her trial (since over a year) and her 'boyfriend', which is not even his father, is in prison already for life but the real tragedy is this beautiful little boy that came to this world completely healthy and just happened to be born to the wrong parents.... So... if your neighbor abuses an innocent tiny dog he sure isn't going to stop for his kids... |
What a horrible guy! I'm so sorry that you and Bogey had to go through this. It's bad enough when other dogs attack, but when it's a human being with a brain...not in this case, I'd go nuts too. I would call the Police Dept. They may not do anything now, but you should let them know in case the sicko decides on some type of retaliation in the future. This guy has an anger problem. I can imagine your other neighbors aren't too thrilled about this crazy couple either. I feel badly for the children. Calling Social Services is the right thing to do for them. I'm sure they will think it's you that called the PD. Just be very careful! Please give Bogey a hug and kiss for us. |
WHAT???? what a loco:mad::thumbdown |
