My Tater will not come when I want him to at home. He will usually go and hide under something (consists usually of sticking his head under the couch or bed with his butt sticking out so the is not really hiding!!), but its usually when he knows it's cage time. If it's outside or elsewhere he usually clings by my side but if not will always come when I call him. I definitely feel your pain!!

I forgot to comment on your previous mention of changing "speak" to "talk" cause you think she was getting confused. That could very well be. When I was trying to teach Sophie to "shake" (this was just in the last month), she looked at me like I was crazy. But then I started to say "paw" instead, and she picked up on it right away. I think it is because I rub her paws and say the word paw when I do it. This was not intentionally planned. It just happened that way. So now "paw" is our shake. Try changing "speak" to "talk". it just might work!
That is too funny. Because I tried to teach Jemma to go on the pee pad by calling it paper. Now she only knows potty as "paper" So now I have to ask her if she has to paper, ROFLMAO

HAHAHA, that's funny. well, if you don't want to ask herif she has to go "paper" you can start to transition it back to "potty" (while she is going, and right afterwards" and give her lots of treats. :D

i mean, if you read my post. milu first learn the word "speak" and now she thinks speak = spin. so i just have to change the work from speak to talk now :D

that is so cute :D

i tried to think of the best word to use for diff. commands, but i didn't think about the fact that some words are hard for them to tell apart. :rolleyes:

i do the hand signal things, but then i also have to think of the different hand signal to use. and a lot of times i just want to talk to her instead of doing the hand signs. :D

I didn't do the pee pads. However, it's been raining since Saturday night here in Pa. and is pretty much going to rain through till Friday. Now is when I wish I had done pee pads. My Sophie isn't very fond of getting her precious whoha wet in the grass. So now, we will have accidents in the house. ARGGH!
