| getting a yorkie puppy 8 month no shots and compatable with male or female? Hi, I have two questions. We are thinking about getting a yorkie puppy 8 month. But just found out it has no shots. Is it to late for shots? Or reactions for being so late? Another question, if we get this male or female yorkie, we will bringing it home to a male very large gentle loves anything that moves golden doodle. I am wondering if we would be better with another male or female. Or if it matters. The goldendoodle has been neutered. thanks |

| It's never too late to get them their shots. If your goldendoodle is a laid back kinda dog then he should do fine with having a buddy/buddiette in the house. Good-Luck...

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Welcome to YT. Why wasn't the puppy vaccinated? Your vet will probably have you do the entire series of puppy shots followed by booster shots. |

In the August 2008 issue of The Whole Dog Journal, Dr. Ronald Schultz reports in an article entitled, Vaccinations 101, by Lisa Rodier, "Research shows that less than 50 percent of puppies will respond at six weeks; 75 percent at nine weeks; 90 percent at 12 weeks; and by 14 to16 weeks, close to 100 percent will respond. " This is Dr. Jean Dodds schedule if it helps to have a guideline.... Vaccination Schedule Recommendations For Dogs This is an interesting article also.... Canine Vaccines and Vaccination | Dog Vaccination Schedule These articles explain about vaccines..... Revaccination Are we vaccinating too much?
