For the record, I'm very impressed with what I've heard about Therapy Dogs United. They run a first-class program. Pat was very helpful in straightening me out about my misconception and directing me to AKC. I apologize for any confusion. |
Wow!! I always had a cute little collar on my Lucky's neck.....but from now on it will be his harness for walking because he loves to stop and sniff, investigate and look for worms......lol It seems I always have to give a little nudge to get him started again.....So yeah.....after reading all this about their necks, it wil definatly be his harness!! Wouldn't want to risk anything! Thanks....Lucky's Mommy:aimeeyork |
Thanks - I was the one who posted it and though it may be genetic in some cases it may not be in others and either way I would rather use a harness. In the three years before he died Corky coughed and hacked and couldn't get his breath. It was heartbreaking and I felt so guilty but I stopped blaming myself because I didn't know this could happen. I want everyone to know the safe way to go.. |
